Discipline

Since this is an English Medium School, the students must speak and work in English only. If caught speaking any other language, they shall be duly fined.

  • The students must come to school regularly and punctually. A minimum of 90% attendance is necessary for promotion to the next higher class.
  • The students must look after their own articles. The school cannot make itself responsible for books, money, or articles that are lost.
  • Students should bring only the minimum required stationery. The use of correction pens (white ink), whiteners, and other such substances is strictly prohibited.
  • The students should bring their books and notebooks according to the timetable to avoid unnecessary weight.
  • The students are not allowed to bring expensive articles to school such as ornaments or mobile phones.
  • It is compulsory for all students to be in proper school uniform on all days of the week.
  • Non-Sikh boys and girls must get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  • Girls up to Std. V should have short hair. In case of long hair, it should be neatly plaited and properly tied.
  • Students must carry a clean napkin with their tiffin box.
  • Shoes must be polished every day.
  • Every guest in the school must be greeted politely.
  • The students should respect the decorum of the classroom and the school premises and report any damages they may observe.
  • While walking in the corridors or leaving the classroom, students must walk in a single line. The monitor will lead the line and ensure silence.
  •  Prior permission must be obtained for planned absences or family events. If leaves exceed above 7 days without prior permission, student name will be debarred from roll and re- admission process will be followed.

Grounds for Student Removal

The school reserves the right to withdraw or remove a student from the school rolls under the following circumstances, after due notice to parents/guardians and following appropriate review and counselling procedures:

  • Frequent Absenteeism: Habitual absence without valid reason or prior approval, adversely affecting the student’s academic progress.
  • Disciplinary Violations: Repeated or serious acts of indiscipline, misconduct, bullying, or behaviour that disrupts the learning environment.
  • Non-Payment of Fees: Persistent failure to clear school dues despite reminders and notices, in accordance with the school’s fee policy.
  • Non-Submission of Mandatory Documents: Failure to submit required documents such as Transfer Certificate (T.C.), Birth Certificate, or other statutory records within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Serious Moral or Ethical Misconduct: Behaviour involving dishonesty, violence, substance abuse, or any act bringing disrepute to the school or posing a threat to others.
  • Unsatisfactory Academic Performance: Continued poor academic performance despite remedial classes, academic support, and counselling.
  • Damage to School Property: Wilful damage, vandalism, or misuse of school property, including laboratory equipment, library resources, or school transport.
  • Violation of Digital and Cyber Safety Rules: Misuse of electronic devices, social media misconduct, cyberbullying, or violation of the school’s IT and online conduct policies.
  • Non-Compliance with School Rules and Regulations: Repeated disregard for school rules, staff instructions, uniform code, or examination regulations.
  • Threat to Safety and Well-being: Any conduct that endangers the physical, emotional, or psychological safety of students, staff, or members of the school community.
  • False Information or Misrepresentation: Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information at the time of admission or thereafter.

Note: The school ensures that all decisions related to student removal are taken in the best interest of the child, maintaining fairness, transparency, and compliance with education board guidelines. Parents/guardians shall be given an opportunity for representation before final action.
